2020年於香港中文大學新聞與傳播學院畢業（一級榮譽），副修文化研究。曾任記者。對人類情感和社會關係深感興趣，並探索其與身體和宗教等之間的關係。另外，關注性別、社區、城市空間、文化藝術等議題；亦關注人生存之尊嚴，尤其邊緣及弱勢群體。 

個人編導之短片《黑暗之光》曾於第十三屆鮮浪潮國際短片節及「鮮浪潮街坊影院」放映，編寫的戲劇作品曾於新域劇團舉辦的「劇場裏的臥虎與藏龍」新劇計劃作公開展演，亦曾在香港文學季徵文比賽中獲公開組冠軍（小說）。目前以文字為主要表達渠道，並積極探索不同的創作及紀實媒介，包括劇場、影像等；亦嘗試策展等其他藝術表達及社會介入之形式。 

最大的願望是做一個真誠的人。

TANG Chit, Gigi graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication (First Class Honours), the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020, with a minor in Cultural Studies. She has been a journalist. She is interested in human emotions and social relationships, and explores their relationship with human bodies and religions. Besides, she is concerned with issues including gender, community, urban space, arts and culture. She is also concerned with the dignity of human lives, especially marginalised and vulnerable groups. 

 

Her self-written and directed short film “Darkness in Light” was screened in the 13th Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival and Fresh Wave Pop-up Cinema. Her written theatre work was performed in the “Playwrights Scheme” by Prospects Theatre, and she earned the Winner Prize (Open group, Fiction) in the Hong Kong Literature Season writing competition. She now expresses mainly through writing, while exploring other creative and documentary medium such as theatre and images; she also explores curatorship as a form of artistic expression and social intervention. 

 

Her biggest wish is to be a truthful person.
